It is almost four months since we started thinking about this project. The first three months, January to March were dedicated to do a market analysis to see how this project would fit with its initial mission of collaboration and cooperation with other organizations. The response was very encouraging and help create a model based on PESTEL* analysis for a framework that would sustain activities, relationships, and goals. Initially based on a personal SWOT* analysis I found how this organization could start and how using PERT* analysis we could develop a system of partnership and cooperation.
The next steps are the establishment of SMART* goals, doing the official registration that includes the IRS 501(c)3 tax exempt status and finding a locality for the initial site.
It is a world with boundless opportunities as many organizations are demonstrating with their great work. Just to mention a few in alphabetical order:
- Chemeketa Community College (Woodburn)
- iUrbanTeen
- Latin Network
- Metropolitan Family Services
- Minds Matter
- PCUN
- Saturday Academy
- TechStart
If all goes well, we will be open to the public at the end of July!
